This guide will show you where to find all shadow cats in LIGHT: Black Cat & Amnesia Girl. There are a total of 10 Shadow Cats hidden throughout the game. If you miss any during your playthrough, the game allows you to replay chapters and find any missing collectables. For ease, I’ve also listed the chapters each collectable appears in.
Shadow Cat #1
Chapter 1
In the very first bedroom, on the shelf besides the door. Use the pile of books to help you get up.
Shadow Cat #2
Chapter 1
Once you come out of the dumbwaiter in the room beside the kitchen, you will spot the shadow cat below you to the right of the table you’re standing on.
Shadow Cat #3
Chapter 1
After shutting the door on the man who chases you down the hallway, you will be in a large room. On the desk at the back of the room, you will find the next shadow cat.
Shadow Cat #4
Chapter 2
In the room with the revolving door powered by a lever, go through the crack in the wall and then through the open door and you’ll spot the next shadow cat sitting to the right of a statue.
Shadow Cat #5
Chapter 2
Before triggering the start of the wolf boss fight, head to the left hand side of the arena and go through the crack in the wall. In the back right hand corner, you will find the next shadow cat.
Shadow Cat #6
Chapter 3
Inside the room with the timer bridge puzzles, flip the orange lever then cross the bridge and take the first left. You’ll find the shadow cat sitting just ahead of you.

Shadow Cat #7
Chapter 3
After breaking through the cobwebs, enter a room with a large elevator. You should see the next shadow cat on the ground to the right of you and the elevator. Just jump down and you can grab it.
Shadow Cat #8
Chapter 4
Enter the labyrinth with the wolf. Go down the stairs and wait until the wolf is looking away, then flip the lever. Whilst the wolf is occupied, run around the corner and flip the next lever. Next, run around the corner and run past this lever and forward to the back wall, then make a turn right. Flip the lever in that room, then run back the way you came. The dog will chase you through the wall, so quickly run to the lever you ran past earlier and flip it. Now go through the doorway on your left, and at the end of the hallway to the left will be the next shadow cat.
Shadow Cat #9
Chapter 4
After crawling through the cave and avoiding the spider legs, you’ll be spat out into a room. Quickly dash to the platform and blast the spider with your light. Once it’s dead, and the woman comes to collect the soul, you can collect the second to last shadow cat hiding beside the table beneath the large gear on the opposite side of the room.

Chapter 4
Once you enter the room where you’ll find this final shadow cat, interact with the energy source podiums to traverse the different platforms and disconnect the large chains, eventually making your way to the last platform where in the final shadow cat will be sitting on a small island to the left. You will simply need to do a little bit of parkour to reach it. Congrats!
