2K Games has officially announced NBA 2K21 and many fans are surprised with the details that have been revealed for the game. Unlike the previous game, NBA 2K21 will be having three cover athletes. These are Damian Lillard, Zion Williamson, and the NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
With the upcoming release of the next-gen consoles, fans are surprised by the price of the new NBA 2K21. As seen on the official website, NBA 2K21 will be $10 more expensive than the previous version. The $10 price increase will only be for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
As of the moment, it is expected that the upcoming PS4 and Xbox Series X will not be having the same amount of users for the next few years. This is the reason why 2K Games will continue supporting the older version of the consoles, which only means that NBA 2K21 will also be playable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The price of NBA 2K21 for PS4 and Xbox One will remain the same. The standard edition featuring Damian Lillard as the cover athlete will be available on Xbox One and PS4 for just $59.99 USD while the Mamba Forever Edition featuring Kobe Bryant will cost $99.99 USD. Grabbing NBA 2K21 Kobe Bryant Edition will also give you the standard edition for the PS5 featuring Zion Williamson as the athlete cover.
NBA 2K21 for PS4 and Xbox One will be available starting on September 4, 2020. While the PS5 and Xbox Series X will be released the same day as the next-gen consoles officially launch.
