Give the People What They Want Beginner’s Guide and Tips

In the game “Give the People What They Want,” you play as a mining robot turned service industry professional. Your goal is to meet the demands of demanding customers and achieve your ServicePoints quota for each day to avoid being disposed of. To do this, you must learn how to efficiently fulfill customer requests while dealing with increasingly complex demands.

Controls

  • Move: Use the left thumbstick to move.
  • Rotate: Use the right thumbstick to rotate.
  • Grab: Press the grip buttons to grab objects.
  • Teleport: Use the right trigger to teleport.
  • Go to menu: Press the X button.

Gameplay

Your main objective is to give customers what they want to earn ServicePoints and avoid being turned into scrap. You need to quickly move around unique stages, grab and hand over products to customers. Customers will reward you with valuable ServicePoints for each item you give them.

Be sure to pick up the points quickly before they disappear. Each stage has a time limit, so you must efficiently fulfill customer requests to earn as many points as possible.

Earning points is important because you have a points quota to meet on certain days. The game consists of 21 days, starting from day 1. At the end of each stage, the points you earned are added to your total ServicePoints, and a new day begins. If you fail to meet the points quota by each deadline, you will be turned into scrap and have to restart your progress.

There are three stages to choose from each day:

  1. Mega Toys Inc. – A Christmas-themed toy workshop.
  2. Symphonicity – A classy music center.
  3. SourcePet – A crowded pet store.

Each stage presents unique challenges, so try them all and find your favorite.

Bonus Objectives

Each day, a random bonus objective is assigned to each stage, which you can see on the stage cards. Some bonuses are shared across all stages, such as servicing a minimum number of customers, while others are specific to certain stages. Unique bonuses can include petting all the pets, playing instruments by hitting them, and more.

Ranking Up

Each stage tracks the points you earn in it. When you reach a certain threshold, the stage ranks up, making customer tasks and demands more difficult. However, the amount of ServicePoints you earn from each stage increases with a multiplier, going up to double points at rank 5. There are a maximum of 5 ranks, and ranking up can introduce fickle customers who change their demands, pet care responsibilities in the pet store, keeping track of different instrument varieties in the music store, and more.

Unlocking New Parts

As you rank up, you unlock new robot parts to customize your character.

Winning/Losing

If you fail to reach your points quota on the specified dates, your run ends. However, if you achieve your quota of 250 points before the 21st day, you retire and win the game.

Enjoy the game and strive to meet your customers’ demands efficiently to succeed!
