About Horimiya

At first glance, the ultra-popular Hori-san looks like a frivolous student, but in reality, she is simple, pragmatic and family-oriented. On the other hand, Miyamura-kun with glasses appears as a dark and middle school fanboy, but in fact he is an attractive young man who has a bad boy tendency and is covered in piercings and tattoos. When these two unexpectedly similar classmates have a random encounter outside the classroom, a bubbly and sweet tale of school life begins!

The manga was adapted into an anime series in January 2021. CloverWorks, who also created The Promised Neverland, created the anime series’ animation, which was directed by Masashi Ishihama. Along with Ishihama were Takao Yoshioka who wrote the script, and Haruko Iizuka who designed the characters. Masaru Yokoyama is in charge of the music.

As for the voice actor of the Horimiya anime adaptation, we have:

  • Haruka Tomatsu as Kyoko Hori
  • Kouki Uchiyama as Izumi Miyamura
  • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kakeru Sengoku
  • MAO as Remi Ayasaki
  • Kondo reigns as Sakura Kōno
