Solo, 1st difficulty, automatons defend missions.
It’s better to take light armor and a stamina upgrade if you have them. Also, the Slugger shotgun allows you to blow up container doors faster.
Spawn at any location aside from the base, and circle around it, checking points of interest (POI). They will be shown on your compass as “?”.
You are only interested in containers that need to be blown up to open and those drones with beaming lights. There you can find SC, medals, and requisitions.
And now it’s designed that as soon as you pick up all of these, they’re already credited to your account; there’s no need to extract or complete mission objectives.
On first difficulty defend missions, maps are small. You can make a full circle in 2-5 minutes max, and then just leave for your ship (Press ESC and there is an option for that).
Warband medals are also easy to farm this way.
After one hour of circling, you’ll have 320 SC, 96 Warbands, and this isn’t even the best run in terms of SC collected at all.
It goes even further. I discovered it by accident when my WiFi went off while I was farming.
It appears that after you lose connection and get sent back to your ship because of it, the mission with all POI locations remains the same after you reconnect.
And more to that, all loot inside the POIs will be the same.
So, you just need to find a container that has what you need (2 medals granting 5 warbonds or 2 SC), loot it, and shut off your internet connection. Then, after you get back to your ship because of losing connection, switch your internet back on and jump to that exact location on the map where you found the POI with the loot that you want. It will be there.
Results of 1-hour “disconnect” farming POI with 2 SC spawns: 360 SC (18 jumps, 20 SC each; you can actually count how much it could be in medals if the POI had 2+2 medals spawn = 72 warbands). The reason for such disappointing results is the game taking a ridiculous amount of time to understand that you don’t have internet (almost a minute for me) and even more time to realize that the connection is back on (3-4 minutes each time). So, in summary, each jump you just waste 4 minutes, which is actually enough time to fully finish 1 circle run.
But this method can actually be used when you find a mission with many tasty POIs, so you can just repeat that exact mission and every time get the same loot from POIs. It needs testing, but it’s enough for me for today.
