Starfield FPS Gets a Big Boost with New Arc & Iris Graphics Update

Are you having trouble getting good performance in Starfield on your Intel graphics card? Intel has a solution for you. The Arc & Iris Graphics 31.0.101.4887 GPU driver is here to help. It promises to boost Starfield’s performance by a whopping 149%, and it brings along several other benefits.

Intel is well-known for producing top-notch gaming CPUs, but they’ve also entered the discrete graphics card market to compete with AMD and Nvidia. While their graphics cards are generally more budget-friendly, there were concerns about their ability to handle Starfield, a game known for its inconsistent performance.

However, Intel seems to have cracked the code to make Starfield run smoothly. Their latest driver update offers a significant performance boost. At 1440p resolution, Intel claims you can experience up to a 149% improvement in performance with High settings compared to the previous driver. Even at 1080p with Ultra settings, you’ll still get an impressive 117% boost.

In addition to the performance improvements for Starfield, this driver update also adds support for the upcoming Intel Arc A580 graphics card and several other games, including the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta, Total War: Pharaoh, and Lords of the Fallen.
