When Did Kurama Die in Boruto Manga?
Kurama died in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 55. The real consequence of the Baryon Mode was also revealed in this chapter. Before the release of Chapter 55, Naruto thought that the cost of the Baryon Mode was his life, but it turns out that it was the life of the tailed-beast.
Before Naruto wakes up, Kurama got a chance to speak to his Jinchuriki. Kurama told Naruto to be extra careful as he no longer has superhuman power. Kurama was seen vanishing while Naruto was raising his hand asking not to leave him.
How Did Kurama Die?
According to the 55th Chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series, when a Jinchuriki’s Biju is extracted, tailed beasts will die. But Kurama’s case does not apply to this principle as the Tailed Beast’s chakra inside Naruto simply vanishes.
Knowing the fact that they used the Baryon Mode, which consumes the chakra of the tailed beast, Kurama will be the one who sacrificed his life to defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki.
