Game Freak has finally rolled out the newest Max Raid event in Pokemon Sword and Shield. This new Max Raid event is a limited event which will end until August 9th. One of the highlights of the event is the addition of a special Pikachu. はい, the shiny form of Pikachu will be available during the event period.
Starting today until the end date, ピチュー, Raichu, ピカチュウ, and Alolan Raichi will be frequently appearing in Max Raid battles in both versions of the game. 上記のように, Pokemon Sword and Shield players will have a chance to encounter Shiny Pikachu in 5-star raid battles.

This Max Raid event is not the only event happening in Pokemon Sword and Shield for the month of August 2020.
