Following the end of the Wano Arc Act 2, One Piece has entered a new exciting chapter as it revealed what happened to the Shichibukai system, X Drake’s identity, and the unexpected fate of Sabo.
One Piece Chapter 956 is now out and as expected, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda gave fans a really interesting chapter. The chapter has three main highlights – the abolition of the seven warlords system, revealing the real identity of the pirate X Drake, and something about Sabo. Abolition of the Shichibukai System
The Reverie has ended and the leaders have returned to their respective countries. There are lots of things happened during the event but the spotlight goes to the abolition of the seven warlords system. The abolition of the Shichibukai is due to the leaders of Alabasta and Dressrosa after claiming that their countries suffered during the occupation of the pirates.
The news about the abolition scattered around the world which makes the people happy. Now that the system is gone, the notorious pirates that are included in the system are being hunted and chased by the marines. This chapter shows the familiar faces such as Buggy the Clown, Dracule Mihawk, Edward Weevil, and Boa Hancock.
X Drake’s Real Identity Revealed
Another exciting revelation in this chapter is the identity of the pirate X Drake, one of twelve pirates referred to as Worst Generation. It turns out that X Drake is a Marine HQ Secret Special Forces Captain.
Learning X Drake that he’s a marine does not surprise me at all since his father is a former marine turned pirate. While he is being physically abused by his father in the past, it seems that his resolve is to help the World Government.
Sabo’s Fate
It’s been a while since Sabo returned in One Piece. He was re-introduced during the Dressrosa Arc where he met his brother Luffy. Sabo is considered as the 2nd strongest member of the Revolution Army, following Monkey D. Dragon.
In the previous chapter of One Piece, Sabo and the others infiltrated the Reverie. Their main goal was to save their comrade Bartholomew Kuma. Their infiltration and other important events happened off-screen but now that topic has returned, it seems something bad happened to Sabo.
In Chapter 956, Sabo’s comrade in the Revolutionary Army including Dragon, Ivankov, Koala, and Belo Betty learned something from the news which shocked them. Other individuals who also know Sabo was stunned to what they found out. The chapter did not reveal what actually happened to Sabo but looking on their face reaction, it seems that Sabo died or has been captured.
Until no confirmation about this matter, all we have to do is wait until a new One Piece manga chapter is released. No delay has been mentioned in this chapter so expect to see One Piece Chapter 957 next week.
