One Piece Chapter 972 is yet to be released but the spoilers for the chapter have already been leaked online and it crushes the heart of many One Piece fans.
According to the leaked One Piece 972 spoilers on Reddit, Oden Kozuki is about to reach the time agreed to let him and the others freed, Orochi turns his back again and changed the way of executing Oden. Instead of boiling, Oden told that they will be shot dead in the capital.
Due to the sudden change of mind and the pain that Oden endured, he throws the wood carrying his subordinates to help them survive and escape. Oden speaks with Kaido but the future Yonko attacked and kill him, letting his body falls in the boiling oil. However, instead of a face in pain, the citizens of Wano saw Oden with a smile on his face.
Meanwhile, Toki found a letter from Oden telling her to send his subordinates in the future. To be exact, 20 years in the future as Oden things someone will be coming to Wano to take down Kaido and Orochi’s madness. Toki was left crying while tearing the letter.

One Piece Chapter 972 marks the end of the Wano flashback and will now return to the current timeline where the Nine Red Scabbards are about to conquer Onigashima while the other allies including Luffy are still missing.
