Tomita is one of the animators behind the epic battle between Luffy and Sanji during the beginning of Whole Cake Island Arc. It’s all exciting to hear that his work is coming back again along with Big Mom’s new appearance. However, it’s sad to say that One Piece fans will have to wait for another week to see his work in action.
The reason behind the delayed release of One Piece Episode 864 is the return of Dragon Ball Super. It’s been a while since Dragon Ball Super left the scene, but according to the announcement last month, Dragon Ball Super anime series is coming back this December. To celebrate its return, the anime is set to release a one-hour long episode, which will take the timeslot of One Piece. Meaning, One Piece Episode 864 will not be airing on December 2, 2018.
