One Piece Live-Action Series Spotted On Netflix Listing

As spotted on a new Netflix listing, it seems like the top hit anime One Piece by Eiichiro Oda is the next anime that will be getting a live-action adaptation.

Netflix is known for throwing a huge amount of budget for an anime series adaptation. Some of their projects are the live-action adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, and the recently announced Cowboy Bebop live-action series.

Since this company is no stranger when it comes to anime adaptation, it’s not surprising to see if they are planning to create a live-action adaptation of One Piece. As reported by Resetera, One Piece live-action series Netflix page has been spotted online.

One Piece Netflix Listing

One Piece Netflix listing did not mention the cast, release date, and even the tile card. However, it does have a description that mentions One Piece synopsis.

“Monkey D. Luffy sets sail with his trusty crew to find the One Piece treasure and become the ultimate Pirate King! Based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda.”

One Piece was released in 1997 and since then, Eiichiro Oda has been constantly drawing the manga. As of writing, One Piece now has a total of 935 manga chapters and 875 anime episodes, excluding the specials and movies.
