While fans are still in a hangover for the happenings in One Piece manga, Toei announced One Piece: Stampede, a new movie coming next year as part of the 20th celebration of One Piece.
One Piece 20th Anniversary Celebration
Next year, One Piece will be hitting its 20th birthday since it was released in 1999. All thanks to Eiichiro Oda who are still doing his best to give the fans more than what they are expecting.
As of writing, there are more than 900+ manga chapters and over 850+ One Piece episodes that have been released. And with the upcoming One Piece: Stampede, One Piece movie database will be hitting its 14th title.
While One Piece: Stampede preview only shows a flashback of what happened since the anime began, I believe that we will be getting more of it once the official trailer is released. In the next few days, Jump Festa 2019 is about to begin, and in Japan, it is one of the most significant events that many anime fans are waiting. For that reason, we are hoping that we’re going to get the official trailer during the event.
One Piece: Stampede will be hitting theaters in Japan on August 9, 2019.
