How to Unlock Promising Research Achievement

Once you have either helped the Sholai in the caves, or killed them for the Takers, you will be able to go to the Eastern Docks. There you will find Shaper Thrakerzod. He wants you to deliver a sample of red goo from Yu-La, who can be found in Barrens Research.
