I like these slice-of-life sims. This game is cute but rather simple, I’m afraid. It’s still a little confusing, but this game has potential. I hope the developer doesn’t give up on it. The game has changed a lot over the years, and some guides reference things that are no longer in the game. It might be possible that this guide will be obsolete in future changes, but well, here it is. I made this guide in mid-2023 and it’s still under construction since I haven’t tested the swamp house yet.
Notes and Tips
Running and Jumping:
It’s free to run everywhere. I wish there was a toggle key for sprinting instead of having to hold down the button. The jump ability is barely useful. Sometimes my energy goes down while running around. I’m not sure if it decreases over time or due to running, but it’s still better to run.
Harvesting Places:
Plants and trees sprout randomly but always in the same areas. Sometimes no plants sprout on a particular day. If you don’t harvest a wild plant that day, it will be gone by the next day.
Mining and Lumberjacking:
Behind the house, beyond the river, there is a cave with some rocks you can mine. Most rocks cost 10 energy to mine, and it’s not very efficient. The same goes for trees when gathering wood. Mine enough to keep your shop’s variety maximized, but don’t use it all for crafting. Instead, buy tools and furniture. Use your energy to plow and plant seeds instead. However, you will still need wood for the auto-alchemy devices.
The Most Important Tip:
DO NOT unlock potion recipes with poison or aether plants early on. These plants are hard to find, and once you unlock the recipe, customers won’t stop asking for them! The exception to this rule is the usable potions that improve farming/energy. Experiment and see if those are worth unlocking or not. Once you have a steady supply of seeds and energy potions, you’ll be fine.
Saving the Game:
You’d think the game would only save after you go to bed, but no, it also saves when you exit to the desktop.
Questing:
In town, you will find the request board. Try to complete these quests. Skip the plant-related ones and only do the potion-related ones. They offer good money.
Haggling:
When a customer can’t find a potion they want, they will come to the counter and ask for it. Sometimes, when you give them the required potion, they will haggle the price, and a minigame will start.
20% Higher Prices:
If you have both the store variety maximized and 100% store integrity, you can sell your items for up to 20% higher prices.
Store Variety:
To increase variety, put at least 3 plants and 3 minerals for sale on the counters along with your potions. Having maximum variety will increase prices.
Store Integrity:
Check the walls and floors on all 3 floors of your house and quickly repair any damage. Having 100% integrity will give you a price bonus on your sales. Walls may look dirty and have a stain on the lower left corner (check the walls behind windows, stairs, and even the front door!). Floors may have noticeable scratches on them. I don’t know if the more expensive options are more durable, but it might be worth looking into. You can use first-person mode to target out-of-reach walls.
Customer Satisfaction:
If a customer buys something, their satisfaction level goes up. If they leave without buying anything, it goes down. The higher the satisfaction level, the more customers will come at once. Even if customers buy a cheap item like a rock for 2 gold, it’s still a win for you.
Farming Tips
Buy seeds and copper hoes in town. Each use of a hoe to dig the ground costs 2 energy. Buyable seeds are limited, but they refresh every Monday. Tree seeds are not a good investment, so skip them.
I usually dig holes as close together as possible so I can water plants faster.
Invest in Iron Watercans. I carry three of them in my inventory. You can quickly refill all three by standing inside water.
I recommend focusing on farming one specific plant of each category so you can have lots of seeds and exchange them for exotic ones at the seed vendor. Avoid mushrooms since they don’t have seeds that can be exchanged for rare plants in town.
Using planters does not waste energy for planting, but they are super annoying. Also, when harvested, they are treated as wild plants, which means they do not provide farming bonus yields. Use first-person mode for quicker watering of planters.
If you are having trouble targeting a specific hole in the ground, switch to first-person mode and try again.
When you harvest a plant in the wild, you have a small chance to get a seed. If you plant that same plant in your garden plot, the chance of getting a seed is almost guaranteed.
Using both plant and seed potions on a plant before harvesting it will yield two seeds and six plants when plucked. Use this technique with Aether plants to quickly multiply your stock until there are no more issues.
Usable Pots
Healing, Relaxing, Aromatic, Stimulant, Poisonous, Aether
You can use some of the potions you make for cool effects! I highly recommend the energy potion for extra farming and the seed/plant potions. Aether plants are rare, and some of these potions should be used with care.

[S+Ar+A] Seed Multiplier = When applied to a plant, it gives double seeds. (It says “drink,” but no.)
