Red Dead Redemption 2: How To Talk With The Giant or Bigfoot, Maybe?

One thing I love in Red Dead Redemption 2 is the easter eggs scattered in the wilderness. In our previous post, we shared how to find the hidden Giant Remains in the mountains. And now, we will be sharing how to have a conversation with an actual giant.

All thanks to Video Game Sophistry for discovering this Red Dead Redemption 2 easter egg. With his discovery, players can talk with a giant. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see him, not now, but the way he talks you can tell that you are communicating with a giant.

Before we start, please be reminded that this post contains some spoiler from the game. Continue reading at your own risk.

How To Find And Talk With A Giant In Red Dead Redemption 2

To find him, you need to study or already learned about 30 animals in the game. Once done, head to the eastern part of Wapiti Indian Reservation and southern part of Calumet Ravine (or go the refer to the map below).

You will then see a bunch of Alpine goat beside the river. Approach the goat, and you will see a flock of birds flying away.  Once you saw the birds flying away, follow it until you reach a rocky mountain.

You will then find a cave blocked with a large rock. Right after you’re in front of the blocked cave, you will hear a mysterious voice. Talk to him and he will immediately describe himself

Here’s what the giant will say as an introduction, “Hello there, friend. How are you? I’m rather lonely, you see… I’m too big. I haven’t got any friends, because I’m too big.”

Once you finished his conversation, do the usual thing that you do in Red Dead Redemption 2. After three days, go back to the same spot and the giant will talk to you again, telling you more giant-thingy words.

Another description of himself will be the departing conversation with you, “I’ve been quite lonely out here. One day, I long to have a wife. But women can be so… cruel. Nobody wants large children. They eat too much. It’s very sad.”

And that’s how you find and talk with a giant in Red Dead Redemption 2. If you’re looking for more guides, make sure to visit our Red Dead Redemption 2 Guide Directory.
