Kadokawa Games has announced its new game, Relayer, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Many new game features will be revealed soon.
Kadokawa Games announced Relayer, a space RPG, on Tuesday, May 25th, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Although the has been confirmed, the official release date or timeframe is yet to be revealed.
At the moment, no new information has been released about the project, but this will soon change as Famitsu reveals many details and news about the new title’s arrival on Sony consoles. Relayer is a space strategy RPG with a turn-based battle system.

While more in-depth information about the game is still unavailable to players, some minor revelations provide hints as to what the title will look like. Famitsu magazine, which will devote 14 pages to the Kadokawa Games game in its next issue, has already revealed two images of the title. It is possible to see the appearance of various characters in the images. Check it out below.
Famitsu, in addition to disseminating the images, stated that the title will have a “deep history in which many powers are inextricably intertwined.” One of the game’s directors, Yoshimi Yasuda, described Relayer as a “new space game with a stellar x mecha x Greek mythology theme.”
The game will feature a turn-based battle system called Stella Gear, with more information to be revealed in the next issue of Famitsu. This new RPG is seen as a spiritual successor to Starly Girls, which was released on mobile platforms. Starly Girls even has its own anime, which fans can watch on Crunchyroll. For the time being, it is unknown whether Relayer will be released on other platforms or will be a PlayStation exclusive.
