Super Raft Boat VR Achievements Walkthrough Guide

Finally, a guide that explains how to get all achievements in the jewel that is Super Raft Boat VR!

Kraken Killer

Assuming you won’t pick the cat ears, you will encounter this boss after wave 3-3. Just keep unloading on it’s tentacles, dodge or shoot the bombs it spits at you, and you’ ll be good to go!

Relaxed

After defeating a boss, you’ll arrive at an island with a chair underneath a palmtree. If you bump into the chair, you’ll die and the achievement will pop. You can’t litterally sit on it!

¡WARNING! If you picked the drone as an upgrade it will attempt to destroy the chair, be quick if you want to go for this one!

The Sea Calls

After defeating a boss and arriving at an island, instead of bumping into the chair, walk towards the new raft at the other end and continue the game. This counts as a ‘loop’ and will happen every time after defeating wave 3-3 and the boss.

The Shotgun

Obtained through natural progression. You need to kill 80 sharks. This may sound like a lot, but with increasing waves and loops, it’s peanuts. The game throws so many enemies at you, that you’ll get this in no time!

The Laser Luger

Obtained through natural progression. You need to kill 200 enemies in one run. It once again sounds like a lot, but it’s a bit luck based. And it all depends on the randomly generated waves. When you get easy waves, you’ll easily pass loop 2, at which you probably get 200 kills in one run. Just keep going!

Stressed

After defeating a boss, you’ll arrive at an island with a chair beneath a palmtree. Shoot the chair or let your drone destroy it before leaving the island, and the achievement will pop.

All Natural

After every 3 waves, a bottle with a message will drift towards you. When you shoot it, you can pick an uograde! One of those is the Boom Bloom, which will possibly spawn berry like objects on enemies. These explode on impact. Since the Kraken consists of 8 tentacles, it’s impossible to nót get a boom bloom to spawn on him. Just shoot it and the achievement will pop.

¡Beware! Upgrades are very random! Pick the boom bloom asap when going for the achievement! Do NOT pick the cat ears, since this will replace the kraken with the catfish boss, and make it impossible to get until your next run!

Daily

Checkout the ‘daily’ in the menu, just keep playing for a spot on there. You’ll probably get this while progressing!

The Flintlock

Obtained through natural progression. You need to kill 20 pirates. This may sound like a lot, but in.ky experience, it became a lot easier since the soda sea update. The game throws way more pirates at you. Not sure if it was intended that way, but I had to kill 20 pirate CAPTAINS, the boatmates didn’t count towards my score.

Untouchable

For beginners, especially in VR in general, this might be a little tough. My recommendation would be to combine this with the Really Red Skies achievement: Start a game, play from wave 1-1 until the boss without building any raft. Even better, just play with one hand and focus on shooting your enemies. In terms of weapons, if you are familiar with VR shooters, the laser luger makes this easy with it’s long range high damage. For beginners, just pick the revolver. In terms of upgrades, the drone is always your best option, after that hotsauce, third eye or scope.

Looper

In my opinion, again, very luck based. You can either make it towards Loop 2 3-2 without a sweat, or get obliterated at loop 1 1-1. Just keep playing and practicing, it’s not impossibly hard, but it will ask some concentration and strong nerves. In terms of upgrades, always prioritize the drone, clouds and the cat ears. After that, damage increasing upgrades and health inducing upgrades are priority. Upgrades that increase your speed or slow down the enemies do not have sufficient effect on their own at this stage of the game.

Legendary Pirate

This one can be really frustrating, since it lacks explanation, but I FINALLY FOUND IT! When entering any sea where galleons appear, the FIRST one you’ll encounter will have a tall crowsnest with red balloonlike objects in it. Shoot those balloons, and watch the anarchy unfold!

Since the soda sea update, the Sea of the Damned sometimes looks mixed with either the soda or arctic sea. So be on edge when it comes to shooting this first galleon, since it seems to be your only chance per run. I did multiple playthroughs to test it out. For me the shootable crowsnest only appeared on the first galleon on all my playthroughs. Whether I shot it or not, and no matter if I looped, it never reappeared. Only when I started a new run, would I encounter it again!

Really Red Skies

For beginners, especially in VR in general, this might be a little tough. My recommendation would be to combine this with the Untouchable achievement: Start a game, play from wave 1-1 until the boss without building any raft.

Be careful with picking the cat ears. I’m not sure if this will void the achievement for your run, since you can’t reach the kraken anymore.

Overkiller

Even with the massive hordes of enemies that increase with waves, 5000 is an awful lot. You’ll easily get all other achievements before coming close to this one. Just keep grinding, aim for the leaderboard, play with friends, try to get all upgrades in one run. Just try to make it fun!

S.O.S

You’ll get this through natural progression, while grinding for the other achievements. If you want to speed things up, get the metal raft upgrade asap, build as much rafts as possible around it but let them get eaten and smashed. Even tho I don’t think that’s necessary, I have to admit that the upgrade you’ll get from it is very good!

No Icecap

You’ll get this through natural progression. Just keep playing through an ice area, which usually appears during the first rounds or first loop, and it will pop!

High Fructose

You’ll get this through natural progression. Just keep playing through a soda sea, which usually appears during the first rounds or first loop, and it will pop!

Catfished

The second infamous achievement after Legendary Pirate. Just pick the catears as an upgrade asap! When you complete wave 3-3, either for the first round or in a loop, instead of the kraken the catfish will appear.

This boss is a bit more agressive then the kraken. It swims in circles around you before diving. Just keep unloading everything on him while he’s swimming at the surface. When he dives, he will either do a charge attack or spit two homing missiles at you.

-Always keep an eye on the watersurface. If he does the charge, you will see red lines with arrows where and in what direction he will charge. He can take out one to two rows of rafts out with this attack, so keep on building before and after his moves.

-If he doesn’t charge, he will burp two homing missiles in the sky. They are slow but unpredictable, shoot them asap.

I recommend, aside from the catears: the drone, since it will take out the missiles while you can concentrate on the boss. Aside from that, all damage increasing upgrades. For a weapon definetly the laser luger. I was able to defeat the catfish after he attacked once, while using the luger, scope, hotsauce and triangle.

Rusty Rafts

Obtained through natural progression. Metal enemies are white/grey variants of other enemies, that can take a bit more damage. Might seems rare, but you’ll get plenty at higher loops or while grinding.

Gilded Guns

Obtained through natural progression. Golden enemies are gold shiny variants of other enemies. They might look like orange fizzy colored enemies, so be on your toes. Might seems rare, but you’ll get plenty at higher loops or while grinding.

Real Sugar

Obtained through natural progression. Fizzy enemies are bright colored variants of other enemies with bubbles flowing through their body. They might look like gold enemies, so be on your toes. A bit more common then metal or gold, especially in the soda sea.

Bugs & Glitches

Even tho the unlockable section states different, you can unlock the third eye without defeating the catfish boss. I got it after defeating a fizzy kraken on loop 2. You won’t get the Catfished achievement for this way tho, so make sure you get the catears and take on the catfish, if you have the third eye but not the achievement!

¡For meta Quest 2!

Be aware that when you start Super Raft Boat VR directly, you won’t get any achievements. Instead, always start it up through desktop or steamvr.
