Will There be a Dota 2 Mobile Now That Riot Games Announced League of Legends: Wild Rift?

Just a few days ago, Riot Games has officially revealed the mobile adaptation of League of Legends named League of Legends: Wild Rift.

League of Legends is one of the top MOBA PC games and with its popularity, it is expected that the mobile version will surpass the achievements of the most played MOBA on mobile which is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Mobile gaming is already making a scene in eSports and Riot Games is not letting this trend cool down revealing that League of Legends: Wild Rift is launching next year.

Now that the biggest competitor of Valve is set to release a mobile adaptation of their game, the biggest question fans are asking is: Are we also going to see Dota 2 on mobile devices?

Unfortunately, Valve hasn’t released any word about the mobile adaptation of the Dota 2. However, checking at Valve’s recent project, there’s a high chance of seeing Dota 2 on mobile.

As we all know, Valve has already released a mobile version of the popular mod in Dota 2 which is now named Dota Underlords. It is available on PC, Google Play Store and App Store and already received a lot of positive feedback.

I don’t know anything about coding a game, but since they already ported Auto Chess on mobile, I believe it will be easy for them to make Dota 2 mobile version.

And with the League of Legends: Wild Rift announcement, we are hoping that it will trigger the button for Valve to make a mobile adaptation of Dota 2. After all, Dota 2 is still the top 1 MOBA game for PC which has the highest prize pool in tournaments.
